Next Level Filmmaking

I have been watching the production diary from Peter Jackson for The Hobbit and it's amazing. It's no mystery that feature films undergo an immense amount of work but the level of this production is intense. Not only has Jackson been utilizing the mind-blowing technology form 3ality Technica to bring his 3D vison to life but all this magic is been created at 48 frames-per-second. Now I will admit, I haven't been the greatest fan of the LOTR saga but I am excited for this release. This will definitely change the cinema experience. Jackson is an outstanding filmaker, not afraid to take chances and his VFX house Weta Digital has some of the most talented and creative minds in the visual effects industry. The Hobbit is in theaters Dec. 14 2012.
